Blizzard Bag Day 2:
Choosing Safe Toys for Children Under 3
Locate 2 articles from different sources that explain the importance for choosing the right toys for children under the age of 3. Your sources should not come from manufacturers as they will be biased. Think about all areas of development and be sure that your articles address more than one area, for example physical development and social development.
1. Write a 2 paragraph summary for each article.
2. Imagine that you are a child development specialist and you have to give a presentation on appropriate toys for children under 3. Referencing information from your sources, write a short 3 to 4 paragraph presentation. Write it just as you would deliver it to a group of parents.
3. Bring these assignments to class on the day after a blizzard bag day.
